TIMP Mini Symposium
On November 21, TIMP members met at the Oost NV in Enschede to learn more about European Research funding.
The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) will run until 2013 and 54 billion Euro will be spent during this period. It is designed to support a wide range of participants. Especially for SME’s the programme is offering some great opportunities. But what is the right way to participate in FP7 and which demands have to be met? The Mini Symposium on EU Research Funding gave the not only an answer to this but also to other relevant questions.
Mr Giel Dubbeld from SenterNovem explained the different support mechanisms for the participation of SME in FP7 by giving a global overview about the programme.
"EU funding for TIMP" - this was the title of Mr Panzers lecture. He figured out, how SMEs can participate in FP7. E. g. how can one built up a consortium, what do they have to care for and what funding exactly means.
Both of the speakers encouraged the members to look for interesting calls and ideas and to ask for help if they would like to get a bit of the big EU-cake! It should not be impossible!
